The ground preparation of the documents prior to my application was made easy by the advice from the ACEI team in an always professional and kind communication through email exchange.

In the U.S., there is no government agency that evaluates international credentials. Academic credential evaluations are provided by private organizations such as ACEI.

Here at the Center for Advanced Studies, Japan, we manage the Japanese equivalent of an American community college in Tokyo and have numerous articulation agreements in place with American colleges and universities. Since many American schools are not familiar with such schools abroad, the first and essential step towards having our course work recognized for transfer credit is to have an independent and trustworthy transcript evaluation done by a reputable and reliable organization like ACEI.

The service was great, I submit my documents in Feb 24,2021, two days after I received a confirmation email where they give me a reference number. Then, 10 days later I got a copy of my evaluation and they send the original to the institution that I request. The process of having your degrees evaluated in a fashion that will be recognized by US universities and employers is a tedious one - it took me quite a while to gather all required documents. My experience with ACEI was very good, their customer service is very responsive, they answered all my questions kindly, and their processing time once they had received all required documents was very quick.
